Allie is passionate about stakeholder engagement and believes the key to good engagement is simple: open and honest dialogue.
She has more than 17 years of experience with the last 12 years in stakeholder engagement and communications strategy.
Her diverse expertise includes successful infrastructure mega-projects; the development and implementation of proactive consultation strategies with municipalities and communities in urban and rural areas; and the organization and leadership of over 60 community and stakeholder engagement events and activities.
She led the Stakeholder Engagement portfolio of Enbridge’s largest project, the Line 3 Replacement Program (replacing over 1600 km of pipe across the prairie provinces). As the Acting Stakeholder Relations Manager, she oversaw and managed over 30 projects in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario, as well as the United States.
She was a key member of the consultation team for EPCOR’s largest project, the Heartland Transmission Project (a 66 km 500-kV transmission power line in the Edmonton region). With EPCOR she created and implemented consultation plans for power and water projects.
Her portfolio of projects included: pole replacements, transmission line replacements, transformer upgrades, substation upgrades, water plant acquisition and boil water advisory. She also planned and executed more than 40 engagement activities in Edmonton, Alberta; White Rock, British Columbia; and Fountain Hills, Arizona.
